Meet JoAnne Funch of Marketing Dish.
JoAnne Funch began her first entrepreneurial venture in 1996 following a job lay off while living in Southern California.
Funch comes from a family of business owners and had been influenced by self-starters all her life. Loosing her job was a symbolic moment when something clicked—she realized what she really wanted was to be selfemployed and uncover her hidden creative talents.
She joined her husband’s graphic design business and everything was humming along nicely when JoAnne’s husband and business partner suddenly died in 2005.
