Meet Kelly Rietow.
She calls herself an “Accidental Entrepreneur”. Her story begins back in 2009 when Kelly decided to lay herself off from a trade show company. She thought she’d do a little part time consulting while looking for “a job.”
Having worked 20 years in human resources, she used to joke with a coworker that when she won the lottery she would start her own process improvement business and her first project would be to fix the DMV. Within six months thanks to a couple of great gigs, she knew she wanted to be a full time entrepreneur and founded ROO Solutions— HR when you need it for nonprofits, manufacturers and other small businesses.
